ABOUT US
Cowles Semi, LLC, a subsidiary of Cowles Company, was established to acquire and continue the development of next-generation microLED and advanced semiconductor technologies originally pioneered by Rohinni, Inc.
Founded in 2013, Rohinni developed groundbreaking methods for high-speed, precision placement of mini and micro LEDs. The company held a robust portfolio of IP and collaborated with leading global partners to enable ultra-thin, energy-efficient displays and backlighting solutions.
In 2024, Cowles Semi, LLC assumed ownership of Rohinni’s full suite of assets, including intellectual property, development equipment, tooling, general intangibles, and other operating resources. This strategic acquisition allows Cowles Semi to build on Rohinni’s legacy while charting a new course toward commercialization and scalable manufacturing.
